A NEW VISION FOR KNOLLE PARK, WOOLTON

Knolle Park is an important and well-known site in Woolton. For many years this sensitive and historically significant site has been in a state of disrepair and neglect. After a series of false starts and failed planning projects, respected Liverpool-based developers, Downing, have brought forward a sensitive and deliverable plan to restore and transform this site.

Our vision is for a small-scale high quality development that respects the site’s natural and historic setting, and creates an intimate sensitively designed residential community in keeping with the character and ambience of Woolton Village.

KEY AIMS

Restore and celebrate heritage

To return the Grade II Listed Knolle Park House to its former prominence as a single, exceptional family home.

Protect the landscape setting

To retain the site’s mature trees, safeguard its ecology, and preserve its distinctive parkland character through a sensitive, low-density approach.

Design in context

To deliver seven new family homes and two garden cottages that are carefully composed, modest in scale, and complementary to both the site and the surrounding community.

Manage access responsibly

To limit traffic impact by retaining the existing Beaconsfield Road access and introducing a secondary, appropriately scaled access from Church Road.
